The Bittersweet - Sheet music + single [mp3 file] - Solo Piano

All my life, I have been attracted to what some people would call sad music. Though I understand this assessment, I believe the word "bittersweet," more closely defines the music I am drawn to.This also describes a fair amount of the music I have created in the past and now with my life partner and collaborator, Kristin Amarie.

We actually began composing this piece as part of a piano/vocal project we had hoped to collaborate and produce with a very talented friend of ours. Long story short, our schedules were never in sync, so we finished the composition ourselves, and I also began writing a lyric. Stat tuned for our version with lyrics, to be recorded in the not too distant future! However, for now, here is THE BITTERSWEET, arranged for solo piano.
